If you're looking for an evening of live music, cocktails, and a breathtaking view of the Yampa Valley, I would highly recommend Sunset Happy Hour. This is by far the best hour in the day with an amazing sunset at over 9,000 feet. The experience is definitely worth the money! Where Your Adventure Begins! The Fruita Fall Festival, celebrated annually the last weekend of September, has been around for over 100 years. The first festival held in 1914 was called the Cowpunchers' Reunion, and featured two days of horse races, bull riding, and roping contests for cowboys.
